Wednesday Wish List

So here’s the next Wednesday Wish List, a soon to be fortnightly addition to the blog. On this wish list you will find my top must haves, maybe some things I’m lusting over but know I will never have, some absolute necessities and anything else that takes my eye!

This weeks list:

  1. This is an absolute necessity in my eyes!Screen Shot 2017-03-22 at 09.22.55.pngIt’s a cook’s mini measuring jug. Now I am by no means an expert cook, as my family will vouch for, but when I’m following a recipe I do like to be accurate and this is ideal for those smaller amounts of liquid. I did have one of these, but, I don’t know how, it has disappeared! Maybe it has got lost during the upheaval of the house renovation, or maybe it has found it’s way to my son’s or daughter’s kitchen! Who knows? But I do know, I need to replace it.

2. I didn’t know this was a necessity until I saw what my daughter did with hers!

She used the pockets in this to store all of her cleaning products! Genius! Not only are they easily accessible, but because the pockets are clear, they are visible. No more raking around in cupboards, wasting valuable cleaning time!

3. An ironing board hanger:

This is something I would like to hang my ironing board up inside hubby’s bespoke cupboard (see here). It’s not a necessity, as the ironing board fits into the new cupboard but this would make it a little more accessible.

4. This is really a lust item, but I think hubby is going to fit one in our new kitchen!!

It’s a boiling water tap, so I won’t need to have an ugly kettle in my new minimalist kitchen!

5. Last on this week’s list is something I’m longing for:

Fresh flowers! I love to have fresh flowers in the house, but haven’t had any for a couple of weeks, due to the state of the house (if you follow the blog, you will know what I mean!) Hopefully within the next couple of weeks the living room might be back in operation and I can have flowers again.
